My research interests are mainly in the high-performance computing area, in particular, I'm interested in the simulation topics. I'm studying discrete event simulation, agent-based modeling, and several other modeling paradigms. Lately, I'm focusing my efforts on devising new optimization techniques for the simulation of spiking neural networks, both biologically accurate and not.
